UMEOX Mobile has announced its solar-powered Android phone at the Mobile World Congress 2011. With the built-in solar panel-charger, it should be powerful enough to keep the phone going with its 3.2-inch, 320 x 480 display.
Well, the solar panel addendum will complement the battery charge. However, charging it from a completely drained-out state will take 17 hours – when out in the sun. In my opinion, an Android phone must look sleek and thin – not bulky with some solar panel behind it.
